I was literally just googling coffee shop with books near me to study, cause i couldn't find any. So i ended up just going to this pretty cafe and as i was ordering, i saw that they have a whole book shelf filled with manga and other interesting genres. Although I didn't bring any ID that time to borrow books, the staff still allowed me to read them. Immediately made this place a 5⭐ for me. Just found my new favorite coffee shop to chill and read.

The food is nice and enjoyable. Price is a bit high but worth it if you are with friends and enjoy the food. Drinks are also good. They have free wifi and good selection of books to read. The service is also commendable. The staff has been nice to us and helpful. Would be back from time to time.

They have bigger space than the Agapita branch but a more modern vibe. Nice place to meet or do some quick work. Please bring back the cookie pie! Kami yung every week nagtatanong.

Malaya Café is such a cozy spot! Their ube macapuno cake is a must-try—sobrang sarap, hindi talaga matamis. The place isn’t crowded (so far), which makes it a relaxing spot to hang out. I also love that they have lots of books, especially for anime lovers—perfect for chilling while enjoying dessert. Plus, they accept credit cards, which is always convenient. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting!

Malaya’s Cafe at Grove is a really nice place to study or hang out with friends and family, offering a cozy and comfortable spot that’s perfect for both productivity and relaxation. The café’s atmosphere is inviting, with a warm interior that makes you want to stay for hours, whether you’re working on your laptop or catching up with loved ones. Their food was just okay, with dishes that were decent but left room for improvement in terms of flavor and overall taste. While the meals weren’t bad, they didn’t quite stand out either, and we felt that a bit more attention to seasoning and preparation could elevate the dining experience significantly. On the other hand, their drinks were really nice, with a variety of options that were well-prepared and satisfying. Whether you’re into coffee or specialty drinks, Malaya’s Cafe has offerings that make the visit worthwhile, especially if you’re looking for something to sip on while you work or chat. One of the highlights of the café is its fast internet connection and abundance of sockets, making it a great choice for students, remote workers, or anyone needing a reliable place to get things done. The space is also quiet overall, aside from background music, which adds to the productive and relaxed vibe. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that guests felt welcomed and taken care of throughout their stay. One thing to note, however, is that they use a common building comfort room, which might not be as convenient or comfortable as having a dedicated restroom within the café itself. Overall, Malaya’s Cafe is a cozy and practical spot at Grove, especially if you’re looking for a place with good drinks, speedy Wi-Fi, and a comfortable environment for studying or socializing. While the food could use some improvement, the overall experience still makes it a worthwhile place to visit.
